When I decided to develop a personal website I had many questions. What do I share? Should it be personal, professional, or both? Tips? Political? Cooking? Career? Beauty? Family? Resume style? Friendly style? Why am I even building this website in the first place? Am I just adding, yet another, responsibility to my plate? I built the website and then contemplated these questions over and over again. Here is what I came up with…
I want it all – I always have and probably always will! I’ve always been a wide-ranging, multifaceted woman. I’ve never subscribed to the ideas of choosing between beauty and brains or family and career! As women, ladies, mothers, daughters, sisters, girlfriends, wives, GLAMmas, bosses, etc… WE CAN HAVE IT ALL and do it any way we want to. So… I want my professional contacts to have an opportunity to get to know the fun side of me. I want my loved ones to have the opportunity to see the professional and intellectual side of me. I want my sons and grandsons to one day read the things I write and remember me and/or learn new things about me. I want to share some of my favorite recipes when/if I feel compelled.
